In the Matsumoto area of Nagano, Japan, we will be performing a ritual concert at the Sokoji Shingon Buddhist Temple in Okaya with Osuwa Daiko master Makoto Yamamoto, grandson of Daihachi Oguchi.

About the event

November 22 in the Matsumoto area of Nagano, Japan, we will be performing a ritual concert at the Sokoji Shingon Buddhist Temple in Okaya with Osuwa Daiko master Makoto Yamamoto, grandson of Daihachi Oguchi, the founder of modern taiko. Along with local Osuwa Daiko members, we will be joined by shakuhachi master Alcvin Ryuzen Ramos, of Vancouver. It’s going to be a magical evening! Public is welcome.
